Congdon’s Aids To Daily Living Celebrates 56 Years, Marks Growth And West End Relocation

EDMONTON, AB - Congdon's Aids to Daily Living is proud to celebrate a major milestone - May 1st was its 56th anniversary serving the Edmonton community and surrounding areas with trusted mobility and home accessibility solutions.
As part of this exciting chapter, Congdon’s also announces that its West End location will be relocating effective June 15, 2026, after more than a decade in its current space. The move reflects the company’s continued growth and commitment to improving accessibility, service, and customer experience.
Congdon’s will be open for business at its new location, 10203-184 Street NW, Edmonton, as of June 15th, 2026. They have a Grand Opening scheduled for June 23, 2026, from 9am to 4 pm.
Over the past 10 years, Congdon’s has experienced significant expansion, growing from a team of 12 employees to 52 dedicated professionals. This growth has allowed the company to enhance its product offerings, strengthen its service capabilities, and better support clients across Alberta.
In addition to the upcoming relocation, Congdon’s recently celebrated another milestone: The one-year anniversary of its South Edmonton location, which officially opened on April 1, 2025. The South store has quickly become an integral part of the company’s operations, increasing accessibility for customers across the city.

It carries a variety of lifts, wheelchairs, canes, crutches, massagers, knee scooters, back supports, bed rails, skin care products, drainage bags, liners, rollators, circulation aids, post-surgery accessories and apparel, residential elevators, adaptive kitchenware, and other specialty items.
