The firm knit provides a deep functional effect and makes mediven® forte especially suitable for overweight to obese men and women, patients with light to severe venous oedema (leg swelling), and those with soft connective tissue.

Indications
mediven® forte is indicated for:
Chronic venous disease Stages I–III (Widmer) or C0s–C5 (CEAP)
Initial phase following varicose vein therapy
Functional venous insufficiency due to obesity
Congestion and oedema during pregnancy
Postoperative reperfusion oedema
Post-traumatic, postoperative, occupational, or medicinally induced oedema
Oedema caused by immobility
Superficial venous thrombosis
Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
Post-thrombotic syndrome
Thrombosis prophylaxis in mobile patients
Inflammatory dermatoses of the legs
Nausea and dizziness during pregnancy
