How the product works

Mesorb can be used by lay persons under supervision of health care professionals.

Application:

1. Clean the wound carefully if needed, and dry the surrounding skin.
2. Apply Mesorb directly on the wound area, or as a secondary dressing over a dressing that transfers exudate, with the white side of Mesorb facing the wound and the blue back side facing up. Secure at least 1 cm overlap on the surrounding skin.
3. Fix in place with a suitable fixation device.
4. Mesorb can be used under compression bandages.

Frequency of change: Mesorb should be changed according to the clinical condition of the wound, or before saturated. If the condition of the wound deteriorates, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. Maximum wear time of each dressing is 7 days.

Precautions

Do not use Mesorb on patient and/or user with known hypersensitivity to the materials/components of the product.

Do not reuse. If reused performance of the product may deteriorate, cross contamination may occur.

Sterile. Do not use if sterile barrier is damaged or opened prior to use. Do not re-sterilise.

Do not use after expiry date. If the product is used after the expiry date product properties cannot be ensured.
