Tegaderm is a brand of transparent, breathable, and waterproof film dressings by 3M, widely used as a "second skin" to protect wounds, surgical sites, IV catheters, and new tattoos. It acts as a barrier against bacteria, viruses, and dirt, while allowing oxygen in and moisture vapor out, facilitating healing.

Application: Ideal for high-movement areas (fingers, elbows), it stretches with the skin and is transparent, allowing for easy monitoring. 
Tattoo Aftercare: Commonly used to lock in natural fluids, accelerating healing while preventing scabbing and protecting against infections.
Wound Care: Used for superficial wounds, blisters, and, burns, keeping them moist and protected without needing daily dressing changes.
Types & Features:
 Includes transparent film, bordered, and foam options, which are hypoallergenic, latex-free, and can be left on for up to 7 days.
 
It is generally recommended to remove it if it leaks, but to leave it intact otherwise.
