InterDry is a specialized moisture-wicking textile with antimicrobial silver designed to manage skin folds and skin-to-device complications, treating intertrigo symptoms like rashes, odor, and pain. It wicks moisture, reduces friction, and kills bacteria/fungus for up to 5 days, commonly used in skin folds (abdomen, groin, neck). 
 
Key Features and Usage:
Mechanism: Uses silver to kill microorganisms and a polyester fabric to manage moisture.
Application: Place a single layer in the skin fold, leaving at least 2 inches (5 cm) of fabric exposed to the air to act as a wick for moisture evaporation.
Contraindications: Do not use with creams, ointments, or powders, as these reduce efficacy.
Duration: Each piece can be used for up to 5 days.
Skin Type: Ideal for intact or denuded skin affected by friction and moisture. 
 
How to Use:
Cleanse: Gently wash the skin fold and pat dry, as recommended in this YouTube video.
Cut: Cut the InterDry fabric to size, allowing for a 2-inch "tail" for moisture evaporation.
Apply: Place the fabric into the skin fold, ensuring it stays flat against the skin, and secure it with tape or the weight of the skin fold, as described on the Coloplast Professional website.
Remove: Replace every 5 days or sooner if soiled with bodily fluids.
